Devo ammettere che l’inaspettato ha sempre attirato la mia attenzione e devo riconoscere che mi ritengo una persona fortunata poiché di soprese ne ho ricevute e ne ricevo tante. A volte mi domando pure se le meriti del tutto, ma per non rovinarle cerco di viverle non dandole per scontate, forse il modo migliore per apprezzarle fino in fondo.

La sorpresa è qualcosa di effimero, si consuma presto, poco dopo la scoperta, ma il ricordo di quell’attimo non alimenta il baratro del dimenticatoio. Fortunatamente arricchisce il sentire, l’autostima e la stima verso chi ci regala qualcosa di speciale rendendoci per un attimo speciali.

Sono sempre stata attratta dalle scritte sui muri o per terra. Ogni volta che esco da casa e noto una nuova scritta mi fermo a leggerla, a decifrarla e mi viene da sorridere. Sono quasi sempre i ragazzi a fare questo tipo di romanticherie e già questo mi diverte. Immagino l’entusiasmo che caratterizza ed anima l’idea di scrivere a caratteri cubitali una dichiarazione o un simbolo ed il momento in cui questo desiderio viene espletato. Immagino una donna aprire la finestra e guardare in basso, uscire dal portone e trovare la sopresa tra l’imbarazzo, l’incredulità e la contentezza nel  pensare che tutti coloro che leggeranno verranno messi al corrente di un messaggio velato o svelato che appartiene a lei, che il suo compagno mentre  dormiva era sotto casa a dichiararle qualcosa in un modo del tutto anomalo, magari anche poco civico, ma basta qualche goccia di pioggia ed il passare del tempo che il decoro  urbano torna a trionfare.

Rendere esplicito un sentimento, una manifestazione d’affetto credo sia un gesto molto bello e non per la pubblicizzazione dello stesso, ma per l’umiltà o il desiderio di sorprendere che sottintende, mostrando a se stessi ed a tutto il mondo una debolezza, una gentilezza, una dolcezza o un entusiasmo verso un’altra persona. E’ come quando si vede un genitore abbracciare in strada il proprio figlio, un uomo allacciare le scarpe della sua compagna o portarle un fascio di fiori multicolore per un appuntamento galante, oppure quando le consegna il famoso cofanetto di velluto blu con l’anello d’oro bianco pieno di brillanti luccicanti per la richiesta di fidanzamento o matrimonio. Questi bei gesti ci restano dentro perché vuoi o non vuoi finiamo per immedesimarci nel destinatario delle attenzioni gradite e gioiamo per l’emozione del ricevente. A volte penso: che vita sarebbe una vita senza sorprese, una vita che si ripete giorno dopo giorno sempre nello stesso modo! Pensate che noia se il brio non rendesse spumosa la quotidianità. C’è un ragazzo che ha avuto la felice idea di scrivere alla sua compagna una dichiarazione d’amore su un muro di un tragitto obbligato che probabilmente percorrerà per tornare a casa. Ogni volta che passerà di lì rivivrà la sua sorpresa, questa volta aspettata, e sorriderà in silenzio, proprio come me. Qualcuno obietterebbe che le intimità rivelate e messe in piazza perdono di valore e intaccano la sfera privata e la privacy. Metaforicamente parlando mi chiedo: se accendessimo fuochi d’artificio per guardarli da soli sortirebbero lo stesso effetto dei mille occhi levati verso il cielo a godere dello spettacolo? La partecipazione collettiva, nonostante ci siano molte persone prese dalle loro cose e poco aperte verso il mondo, in qualche occasione crea l’atmosfera giusta  per vivere l’intero contesto, oltre al singolo gesto. Forse mi vergognerei (anzi toglierei il forse) di essere il soggetto principale di una esternazione pubblica, ma amo osservare lo spirito d’iniziativa e la voglia di stupire altrui, godermi lo spettacolo di coloro i quali senza esagerazioni e maleducazioni si scambiano affetto con naturalezza, spontaneità e sincerità.
